The accommodations proposed in Serengeti apply only when you want to experience Eastern/Central Serengeti on your Serengeti part of the trip and these two locations can be visited all year around. If you are specifically interested in witnessing the Mara River Crossing great Migration in Late July, August, September to Early October, the accommodation can be adjusted accordingly and there will be a flight option into or out of North Serengeti. The same Itinerary can be adjusted to include Western Serengeti if you are specifically interested in the Grumeti River Crossing in May, June to early July.
11 Days Ultra-Luxury Uganda and Tanzania Safari Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet and greet with a representative of Engabi Tours and Travel who will welcome you to Tanzania and then transfer you to your hotel in Arusha town. Your guide will give you a brief on your upcoming safari activities.

Travel Time by Road: 1 Hour
Day 2: Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park For a Full Day Game Drive
After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to the Tarangire National Park for a full day game viewing experience in this magnificent park which is famous for its large collection of baobab trees, spectacular large mammal population and variety of bird species, not to mention one of the largest concentration of elephants in the country. After the Game drive, you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Flight to Seronera Airstrip Serengeti National Park
After breakfast you will head to Kuro Airstrip to take on your flight to Seronera Airstrip Serengeti National Park. On arrival at Seronera you will meet with your dedicated guide who will welcome you to the park and take you on a game drive as you head to your lodge arriving in time for check-in and later an evening game drive.

Flight Time: Approximately 1 Hour
Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will embark on a full day game drive in the Serengeti National Park where you expect to see lots of wildlife including lions, Cheetah, Gazelles, Giraffe, Zebras, Elephants and wildebeest Migration depending on the time of the year you visit. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Today after breakfast, you will head out for a morning game drive from where you will transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving in time for lunch and later dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Full Day Game Drive in the Ngorongoro crater
After a very quick breakfast, you will make an early descent at around 6:30 AM into the crater floor for a game drive. This area is compared to Garden of Eden on earth. The big numbers of wildlife can be spotted in a day including all big five, the elephant, black rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetahs, and lots of hyenas, hippos, zebra and wildebeest being the most abundant. You will take a break for lunch and in the afternoon, you will continue game viewing in the south corner of the park where you visit Lake Magadi a place you can see flamingos, hippos and other water birds. Return for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport and onward Flight to Entebbe International Airport
Today after breakfast, you will transfer to Manyara Airstrip for your scheduled small aircraft flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will arrive in time for your onward flight to Entebbe International Airport in Uganda. On arrival you will be met by your driver guide who will transfer you to your hotel for overnight.

Day 8: Flight to Kihihi Airstrip and Transfer by Road to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today you will wake up to your breakfast and then transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your flight to Kihihi Airsrtip near Bwindi Impenetrable National park. On arrival at Kihihi Airstrip, you will meet your dedicated driver who will transfer you to your lodge in Bwindi arriving in time for check in to your lodge and later lunch. You may take an evening walk around the nearby community and then dinner and overnight

Flight Time to Kihihi Airstrip: Approximately 1 Hour 30 Minutes
Travel Time by Road to the Lodge: 1 Hour 30 Minutes
Day 9: First Gorilla Trekking Experience
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the Ruhija Sector park headquarters arriving in time for the gorilla trekking briefing. The briefing point is few minutes away from the Lodge. After the gorilla briefing session which usually starts at 8:00 am, you will be assigned the gorilla group that you will be trekking with other trekkers and you will be escorted into the impenetrable jungle with two gun-baring rangers and a tracker with a machete to lead your way.
Once you have found the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend 1 hour with them and you are advised to keep your camera in silence and observe a 10 meters’ distance from the gorillas with your mask on at all times. The time of your stay in the jungle cannot be pre-determined as every day is different from that previous. Return to the lodge for lunch, relaxation and later dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Second Gorilla Trekking Experience
Today you will have a second chance to spend another one hour with the gorillas in another family different from the previous one or in Buhoma sector depending on your fitness which will give you additional opportunity for photography and experience. Later return to the lodge for lunch and spend the rest of the evening relaxing (you may choose to have a massage at the spa) and later dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Flight to Entebbe International Airport and Departure
After a very early breakfast, you will transfer to Kihihi Airstrip for your flight to Entebbe International Airport arriving in time for your connecting international flight marking the end of the trip.
