Detailed 13 Day Luxury Africa Honeymoon Safari Vacation Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to your Hotel in Entebbe Town
On arrival at Entebbe International airport, you will meet and greet with your driver from Engabi Tours and Travel who will welcome you to Uganda and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe Town for overnight. He will brief you about your upcoming activities. If you arrive early, you may head out for a shoebill watching excursion at Mabamba swamp in the afternoon.

Day 2: Flight to Kihihi Airstrip Located Near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today you will have an early morning (5:30am) transfer to Entebbe International Airport from where you will board your flight to Kihihi Airstrip located near Bwindi. On arrival at Kihihi Airstrip, you will meet and greet with your dedicated driver who will transfer you to your lodge on the edge of Bwindi Forest arriving in time for lunch and later dinner and overnight.
Set on a flat ridge, deep within Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Gorilla Forest Camp is a remote and atmospheric mountain sanctuary. The only accommodation located within the national park, the camp boasts an unrivalled location with exceptional wildlife and birdlife viewing opportunities. Day 3: First Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Experience
Today you will wake up very early and enjoy your breakfast after which you will be transferred to the park headquarters with packed lunch for briefing on the dos and don’ts of Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi. You will then enter the jungle to meet the gorilla family that you will watch for 1 hour and during this time the rangers will tell you a lot about the group and thereafter you will head back to the park headquarters where you will meet your driver and transfer back to the lodge. In the evening you might go for a community walk with your guide depending on whether you are tired or not.

Day 4: Second Gorilla Trekking
Today you will have another chance to walk with the gorillas and this time you will be allocated a different gorilla family giving you more chance to learn more about the different gorilla families. When the trekking is done you will head back to the starting where your driver will be waiting for you for a transfer back to the lodge for lunch. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Flight to Entebbe for Connecting Flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport-Tanzania
Today, you will wake up early for an early morning journey to Kihihi Airstrip arriving in time for your flight to Entebbe International Airport from where you will you will connect to your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport in Tanzania. Once you touch down in Tanzania, you will be greeted by your private driver who will welcome you to Tanzania and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha town.

Day 6: Flight to Kogatende Airstrip and Afternoon Game Drive
After breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport to catch your onward small aircraft flight Kogatende Airstrip in Serengeti North arriving in time for check-in, lunch and later an afternoon Game Drive in the Kogatende Area which is home to predators and other animals all year around plus famous wildebeest Migration Mara River Crossing. After the Game drive, you will return to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 7: Full Day Game Drive in the Kogatende Area of Serengeti (North)
Today is without question one of the highlights of your safari. After a rich breakfast you will start your adventure a little earlier than usual and head to the Mara River to witness the great migration Mara River Crossing. Today’s full day game drive will help you experience the Serengeti in its full glory! You will be waiting for crossing along the river but you will also do game drive the rest of the Kogatende Area. The Mara River is the last major obstacle standing between the Wildebeest Migration and the relative safety of the Masai Mara. If you’re patient and a little lucky, you will get to witness the death-defying crossing itself where wildebeest and zebras brave the river’s currents and crocodiles in an attempt to reach safety on the opposite bank. After witnessing the crossing, you will continue with the game drive in the rest of the area and retire to your camp for Dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Morning Hot Air Balloon Safari Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti (Kogatende and Eastern Area)
Today you will wake up early at 6:00am and you will be transferred to the Balloon Safari Starting point from where you will a Start to fly with it to explore the beauty of Serengeti National Park and view the wild animal up to 7:30 am. You will then take a bush breakfast until 9:30 am and continue with your full day game drive with your guide moving towards the Eastern Area of Serengeti. You will arrive in time for check-in to your lodge, lunch and later an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Full day Serengeti Plains
Today you will have a full day game drive in Serengeti with chances to see predators chasing their pray. Day 10: Another Night In Serengeti
Today is your last day in Serengeti! Savor a quiet morning at one with nature with coffee on your suite’s private deck surveying the landscape that unfolds before you. Day 11: Scheduled Flight to Kuro Airstrip In Tarangire and Night Game Drive
Today, your next stop is Tarangire National sleeping at Lemala Mpingo Ridge Lodge which sits atop an escarpment with sweeping views across the perennial Tarangire River and valley below, Lemala Mpingo Ridge enjoys marvelous sunrise views and is the prime position from which to explore Tarangire National Park.
On arrival at Kuro Airstrip, you will meet and greet with your dedicated guide who will welcome you and begin a leisurely game drive as you proceed to the lodge arriving in time for lunch overlooking the river valley floor. You will have the rest of the evening for relaxation and you may take a rest in your room or on the outside lounge or enjoy a dip in your private outside bathtub—perfect for soothing the soul and washing away the African dust after a day on safari.
After your dinner at around 7:00Pm, you will prepare for your night game drive and at around 8:15Pm you will meet your guide and the TANAPA park ranger for briefing before heading into the dark in search of active nocturnal with the help of a dedicated spotter using filtered spotlights. You will return to the lodge by 11:00Pm for overnight.

Day 12: Another Night in Tarangire National Park
Today is your final full day in Tanzania and we recommend that you consider taking it easy. The physicality of the last days of trekking and the long days of safari game drives must be wearing on your body, so today is the ideal time to dip into the spa, enjoy the swimming pool and other facilities at the lodge.
If you are up for more interactions with wildlife you might opt for another game drive.

Day 13: Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport
