Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
On arrival at the Airport you will meet and greet with your driver from Engabi Tours and Travel who will welcome you to Kenya and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi for overnight and give you a short briefing about the upcoming activities.

Day 2: Transfer to Masai Mara
After an early breakfast, you will head to the world-famous Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. Later you will go for an afternoon game drive in the beautiful plains where you will spot quite a number of animals and learn a bit about the Mara and at sunset you will make your way back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full Day in the Masai Mara
Today after breakfast, you head out and spend the rest of the day with game drives and activities in the Mara. In between the game drives, a short lunch will follow and then you will continue with game drives as you look out for wildlife and explore the rich landscapes of the Conservancy. You will wind up your evening with a sundowner before heading back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Another Full Day in the Masai Mara
Today you will spend another full day with a picnic lunch exploring the Masai Mara and you will soon realize why this reserve is so highly regarded as the best reserve in Africa. Every year, millions of wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle pound their way across the savannas in an instinctual survival of the fittest. Another big draw card to the Masai Mara is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. Return to the lodge in evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti National Park preferably by Flights
After a very early breakfast, you will transfer to the nearest Airstrip to your lodge to take your flight to Migori Airstrip near The Isibania border crossing. From here you will transfer by road for approximately 45 minutes including time spent at immigration to Tarime Airstrip in Tanzania from where you will take your flight to Serengeti National Park depending on which part of Serengeti you are visiting between North (July, August, September and October) , Central ( Al-year round) West ( June), East ( All Year around) South ( December, January, February and March) which all depends on your desired experiences between Great migration Mara River Crossing, Grumeti River Crossing or the Calving Season or even just Big five animals safari game drives. You will arrive at your lodge in time for check-in, refreshment and game drives.
It is also possible to transfer by road especially if your next destination from Masai Mara is the North of Serengeti which is just 6 hours by road. However, you should note that other Serengeti locations (Central, East, West and South) can take from 8-12 hours of road drive hence the reason why we recommend that you do flights.

Day 6: Full Day Game drive in the Serengeti
After breakfast, you will depart with picnic lunch for a game drive in the Serengeti plains viewing the Big Five animals or following the great migration at Mara River depending on the time of the year visit or your safari interest. The game drive will take you to interesting places in the park where the big groups of wildebeests and predators will be at that particular period. After the full day of game drive, you will drive to the camp for evening leisure and hot dinner.

Day 7: Optional Morning Balloon Safari and Full Day game drive in Serengeti
Today you will wake up to an optional early morning hot air balloon safari experience over the Serengeti which will give you a birds-eye view of the park as you rise alongside the sun and witnessing the millions of animals in the park. The flight lasts about an hour, after which you will have breakfast by the park’s lush plains and thereafter continue following the great migration. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Transfer from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, you will have a final game drive in the Serengeti and thereafter drive in the direction of the Ngorongoro Conservation area with your picnic lunch. You will pass by the crater view point for photography and then proceed to the lodge for evening leisure and hot dinner.

Day 9: Full Day Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater together with your packed lunch and descend into it for a full day game viewing. Ngorongoro Crater was formed over 3 million years ago. It is inhabited by a unique ecosystem inhabited by more than 25,000 animals. In the grass steppes and Acacia forest you will find almost every type of animal from the East African savanna. The Big Five (rhino, elephant, Cape buffalo, lion, leopard) and most of the animal species found in the Serengeti, including zebra, hippos, wildebeest, and cheetahs, can be viewed close up. The Ngorongoro Crater ecosystem maintains the historic balance between people and nature in a way that is not possible in other parks. Later in the evening, ascend and head back to the lodge for an evening leisure and hot dinner.

Day 10: Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport and Departure
After a heavy breakfast, you will transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport arriving in time for your onward flight marking the end of the trip.
